Social Studies Project
Today we started a Social Studies project on Regions of the US. Each group has been assigned a region: Northeast, Midwest, South, or West. They will be producing a poster to feature the many great things that their region has to offer. Each student will be collecting information to help the group produce the most persuasive display. Each student has a role within their group.

MobyMax
Students were sent home with a letter about MobyMax. It is a site that I really like because it has different modules for almost every subject as well as social features that allow me to communicate with the whole class.
Students are given quick placement tests so that they constantly have assignments available at their own level and they earn rewards for completing lessons. I will also be setting up competitions on MobyMax as the year goes on.
In addition to reading tonight, I would like every student to log on to MobyMax using the school code mo1239 and check the wall.
